Do you ship to the South Island or internationally?
Currently, we only deliver within the North Island of New Zealand. If you’re based elsewhere and would like to order, please get in touch and we’ll see what we can do.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards via secure Stripe checkout. You can pay with Visa, Mastercard, or American Express.
Can I return or exchange my order?
Due to alcohol licensing laws and food safety regulations, we can’t accept returns for change of mind. However, if your wine arrives damaged or there’s an issue with your order, please contact us at sales@hewines.nz and we’ll make it right.
How should I store my wine?
Store bottles on their side in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight or temperature fluctuations. Ideally, wines should be kept at around 12–15°C.
Any tips for serving your wines?
- Red wines (Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon): Best served just below room temperature. Let the wine breathe for 15–30 minutes after opening to enhance flavour and aroma.
- White wines (Pinot Gris): Chill before serving, ideally between 8–10°C. Take the bottle out of the fridge 15 minutes before pouring for a more balanced profile.
